Designed to protect. Linemaster recently introduced a protective vinyl cover that can be applied over our Clipper and Clipper 88 foot switch models (not the wide-treadle versions). This boot is available only in bright orange, and provides additional protection to the foot switch from limited amounts of liquid, dust, dirt, mud and snow. Since the boot covers most of the foot switch, it helps prevent materials from entering the housing, where the electrical snap switch (or air valve) is mounted. If the foot switches in your application are subjected to this type of environment, you may wish to offer the boot as an option, or as a standard feature. The boot can be applied to the foot switch at any time, even by the end user, and requires no disassembly or special tools.
